What is Beyond You (2024)

The ongoing project entitled "What is Beyond You" is now presented as part of the 9th Biennale Gherdeina in the natural history department of the Museum Gherdëina in Ortisei, Italy. 

I'm appropriating the museum presentations to tell stories of apocalypse, survival, adaptation, and extinction using the example of non-human bodies, in this case, rare butterfly species.

The 9th Biennale Gherdeina commissioned this work and it’s curated by: Lorenzo Giusti and the associate curator, Marta Papini.
