I'm delighted to be part of the 9th Biennale Gherdeina under the name "The Parliament of Marmomts" in Dolomites, Italy, from the 31st of May to the 1st of September 2024. It's curated by Lorenzo Giusti and Marta Papini as associate curator and it takes place in various venues, My Project "What is beyond you" is in Museum Gherdeina.
The ongoing project “The blue wadi: resurrection” will be exhibited at W139 in Amsterdam this April, Initiated by Hend Samir and Afra Eisma.
Now I’m in artist residency at CBK Zuidoost, Amsterdam.
From 16 February to 17 March, “I’ve Known Rivers” film will be part of the ARCHIVE&RESEARCH: SACRED STORIES: Relatos Sagrados exhibition, organized by A FANTASIA MATRIXIANA and hosted by the Clovis Salgado Foundation/Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 2024.
We're so honored to be part of the MENA film festival, on the 30th of Jan our film "I've Known Rivers" will be screened in Vancouver at 16:15 at VIFF center studio theater.
Next Monday on the 6th of November I will moderate a talk titled “ Art and the Anthropocene”, as part of the Rozanama 9 parallel program, at Tahrir Culture Center, AUC.

"I've known rivers" film is in Zawya cinema for short films in Cairo, Egypt. The last rescreened at Zawya Cinema on the 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th of May.

I’ll be part of the “Extended Ecologies” program between Medrar (Cairo) and Critical Media Lab (Basel).
I’m happy that I received Gypsum bursaries and I’ll work on publication project in the upcoming 6 months.
The three awardees will be mentored by each of: artist Mahmoud Khaled, artist and curator Maha Maamoun, and writer Yasmine El Rashidi to develop their project and research further during the 6 months of the bursary program. A public event will be held at the conclusion of the program, in which awardees will present their projects to the general public. The bursary program runs till May/June 2023.
